A brief introduction to social media for Infinity Squared Technologies, [...]

I’d like to take the time to welcome Infinity Squared Technologies, Inc. to the Web 2.0 world. Up until now we haven’t been a consumer focused company and have been able to avoid the Web 2.0 world primarily because we couldn’t bring anything to the table. Infinity Squared Technologies, Inc. is now a consumer focused company and we hope to bring value to our customers via our social media endeavors.

For the majority of small businesses social media becomes an extension of their marketing plans. They only use the medium as far as a way to push marketing fluff onto their customers without the desire to hear back from them. It is very easy to turn the new medium into an extension of the old, but that defeats its true purpose. Its purpose is to be a two way dialog between consumer and business. It is a new era.

For Infinity Squared Technologies, Inc. we’ll be using our new twitter account, @istcorp, and our blog as a way to engage our customers, not to market to them. This will be our way to share what we’ve been working on with you and for us to learn what you want us to change or improve upon. We allow comments on our blog postings and you can contact us at any time. We are here to serve you and not the other way around.

We encourage you to engage us as much as we’ll be engaging you. Help us serve you better!

Welcome to the Web 2.0 Infinity Squared Technologies, Inc.
